Partners:
The main purpose of the ReConnection project is to combine the expertise and experience of two partner organizations and develop a new comprehensive methodology that supports social integration, self-awareness development, and future planning for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. The so-called Re.Connection model guides young people throughout their development: from strengthening their own identity, roots, and connection to the community to building a conscious vision and career planning. The novelty of the model comes from merging experiential outdoor learning methods with career planning and mentoring tools.
The name of the project has symbolic meaning: ReConnection refers to various areas of reconnection: firstly, with nature, which clears the mind and creates space for learning; secondly, with oneself, through self-discovery and work on one's own identity; with the community, which provides a safe and supportive space for growth; and finally, with the future and society, which gives young people self-confidence, valuable plans, and new opportunities.
Our long-term goal is to create a methodological framework that will support young people step by step in redefining themselves and developing a motivating and achievable vision of the future. The international partnership ensures the sharing of experiences, the mutual acquisition of innovative approaches, and the dissemination of the Re.Connection model in a broader professional context.
